Sainte-Anne-des-Plaines (east) is a neighbourhood of Sainte-Anne-Des-Plaines, in Greater Montréal. At the 2021 Census of Canada it had a population of 5,513 living in private households. 4.5% of residents identified as members of a racialized (visible minority) group, against 27.2% across Greater Montréal as a whole; the largest single group was Black at 2.2%. 93.2% were Caucasian (not a visible minority, excluding Indigenous identity), and 2.1% reported Indigenous identity. Immigrants made up 3.8% of the population, compared with 24.3% citywide. Median household income before tax was $88,000 in 2020, compared with $76,000 for Greater Montréal. 24.5% of households rented rather than owned. The neighbourhood covers 1.79 km², giving a population density of 3,071 people per square kilometre (Greater Montréal averages about 908).
