La Plaine (northwest) is a neighbourhood of Terrebonne, in Greater Montréal. At the 2021 Census of Canada it had a population of 5,662 living in private households. 15.0% of residents identified as members of a racialized (visible minority) group, against 27.2% across Greater Montréal as a whole; the largest single group was Black at 10.3%. 83.0% were Caucasian (not a visible minority, excluding Indigenous identity), and 2.0% reported Indigenous identity.
