Blainville sur le Lac (northwest 2) is a neighbourhood of Blainville, in Greater Montréal. At the 2021 Census of Canada it had a population of 8,619 living in private households. 13.5% of residents identified as members of a racialized (visible minority) group, against 27.2% across Greater Montréal as a whole; the largest single group was Arab at 5.0%. 85.4% were Caucasian (not a visible minority, excluding Indigenous identity), and 1.1% reported Indigenous identity. Immigrants made up 11.5% of the population, compared with 24.3% citywide. Median household income before tax was $97,000 in 2020, compared with $76,000 for Greater Montréal. 21.8% of households rented rather than owned.
