Blainville sur le Lac (east-southeast 2) is a neighbourhood of Blainville, in Greater Montréal. At the 2021 Census of Canada it had a population of 4,911 living in private households. 11.7% of residents identified as members of a racialized (visible minority) group, against 27.2% across Greater Montréal as a whole; the largest single group was Arab at 3.2%. 87.5% were Caucasian (not a visible minority, excluding Indigenous identity), and 0.7% reported Indigenous identity. Immigrants made up 11.4% of the population, compared with 24.3% citywide. Median household income before tax was $141,000 in 2020, compared with $76,000 for Greater Montréal. 18.4% of households rented rather than owned.
