Blainville sur le Lac (north-northeast) is a neighbourhood of Blainville, in Greater Montréal. At the 2021 Census of Canada it had a population of 9,560 living in private households. 11.9% of residents identified as members of a racialized (visible minority) group, against 27.2% across Greater Montréal as a whole; the largest single group was Black at 3.5%. 86.9% were Caucasian (not a visible minority, excluding Indigenous identity), and 1.2% reported Indigenous identity. Immigrants made up 12.2% of the population, compared with 24.3% citywide. Median household income before tax was $143,000 in 2020, compared with $76,000 for Greater Montréal. 16.1% of households rented rather than owned.
