Blainville sur le Lac (west) is a neighbourhood of Blainville, in Greater Montréal. At the 2021 Census of Canada it had a population of 4,182 living in private households. 7.1% of residents identified as members of a racialized (visible minority) group, against 27.2% across Greater Montréal as a whole; the largest single group was Black at 2.9%. 90.7% were Caucasian (not a visible minority, excluding Indigenous identity), and 2.1% reported Indigenous identity. Immigrants made up 9.6% of the population, compared with 24.3% citywide. Median household income before tax was $83,000 in 2020, compared with $76,000 for Greater Montréal. 37.2% of households rented rather than owned.
