Villeray (southeast) is a neighbourhood of Montréal, in Greater Montréal. At the 2021 Census of Canada it had a population of 2,011 living in private households. 26.8% of residents identified as members of a racialized (visible minority) group, against 27.2% across Greater Montréal as a whole; the largest single group was Latin American at 5.9%. 71.2% were Caucasian (not a visible minority, excluding Indigenous identity), and 2.0% reported Indigenous identity. Immigrants made up 24.7% of the population, compared with 24.3% citywide. Median household income before tax was $54,800 in 2020, compared with $76,000 for Greater Montréal. 81.4% of households rented rather than owned. The neighbourhood covers 0.10 km², giving a population density of 19,355 people per square kilometre (Greater Montréal averages about 908).
