La Petite-Patrie (west-northwest) is a neighbourhood of Montréal, in Greater Montréal. At the 2021 Census of Canada it had a population of 2,148 living in private households. 11.6% of residents identified as members of a racialized (visible minority) group, against 27.2% across Greater Montréal as a whole; the largest single group was Southeast Asian at 2.8%. 87.4% were Caucasian (not a visible minority, excluding Indigenous identity), and 0.7% reported Indigenous identity. Immigrants made up 16.4% of the population, compared with 24.3% citywide. Median household income before tax was $73,500 in 2020, compared with $76,000 for Greater Montréal. 64.9% of households rented rather than owned. The neighbourhood covers 0.19 km², giving a population density of 11,124 people per square kilometre (Greater Montréal averages about 908).
