Parc-Extension (north-northeast) is a neighbourhood of Montréal, in Greater Montréal. At the 2021 Census of Canada it had a population of 6,147 living in private households. 63.6% of residents identified as members of a racialized (visible minority) group, against 27.2% across Greater Montréal as a whole; the largest single group was South Asian at 41.4%. 36.0% were Caucasian (not a visible minority, excluding Indigenous identity), and 0.4% reported Indigenous identity. Immigrants made up 45.3% of the population, compared with 24.3% citywide. Median household income before tax was $44,800 in 2020, compared with $76,000 for Greater Montréal. 79.2% of households rented rather than owned. The neighbourhood covers 0.33 km², giving a population density of 18,684 people per square kilometre (Greater Montréal averages about 908).
