Mont-Saint-Hilaire (east-southeast) is a neighbourhood of Mont-Saint-Hilaire, in Greater Montréal. At the 2021 Census of Canada it had a population of 7,015 living in private households. 3.2% of residents identified as members of a racialized (visible minority) group, against 27.2% across Greater Montréal as a whole; the largest single group was Southeast Asian at 0.7%. 95.2% were Caucasian (not a visible minority, excluding Indigenous identity), and 1.6% reported Indigenous identity. Immigrants made up 5.8% of the population, compared with 24.3% citywide. Median household income before tax was $115,000 in 2020, compared with $76,000 for Greater Montréal. 19.0% of households rented rather than owned. The neighbourhood covers 21.64 km², giving a population density of 324 people per square kilometre (Greater Montréal averages about 908).
