Mont-Royal (southwest) is a neighbourhood of Mont-Royal, in Greater Montréal. At the 2021 Census of Canada it had a population of 1,989 living in private households. 51.7% of residents identified as members of a racialized (visible minority) group, against 27.2% across Greater Montréal as a whole; the largest single group was Chinese at 17.5%. 48.6% were Caucasian (not a visible minority, excluding Indigenous identity), and 0.0% reported Indigenous identity. Immigrants made up 44.7% of the population, compared with 24.3% citywide. Median household income before tax was $82,000 in 2020, compared with $76,000 for Greater Montréal. 47.4% of households rented rather than owned.
