Le Vieux-Longueuil (northeast) is a neighbourhood of Longueuil, in Greater Montréal. At the 2021 Census of Canada it had a population of 9,316 living in private households. 14.3% of residents identified as members of a racialized (visible minority) group, against 27.2% across Greater Montréal as a whole; the largest single group was Black at 3.7%. 84.7% were Caucasian (not a visible minority, excluding Indigenous identity), and 0.9% reported Indigenous identity. Immigrants made up 15.6% of the population, compared with 24.3% citywide. Median household income before tax was $89,000 in 2020, compared with $76,000 for Greater Montréal. 22.3% of households rented rather than owned. The neighbourhood covers 5.10 km², giving a population density of 1,827 people per square kilometre (Greater Montréal averages about 908).
