Le Vieux-Longueuil (east-northeast) is a neighbourhood of Longueuil, in Greater Montréal. At the 2021 Census of Canada it had a population of 9,332 living in private households. 14.3% of residents identified as members of a racialized (visible minority) group, against 27.2% across Greater Montréal as a whole; the largest single group was Black at 6.0%. 85.0% were Caucasian (not a visible minority, excluding Indigenous identity), and 0.7% reported Indigenous identity. Immigrants made up 16.6% of the population, compared with 24.3% citywide. Median household income before tax was $89,000 in 2020, compared with $76,000 for Greater Montréal. 27.7% of households rented rather than owned. The neighbourhood covers 4.73 km², giving a population density of 1,971 people per square kilometre (Greater Montréal averages about 908).
