Le Vieux-Longueuil (south-southeast 2) is a neighbourhood of Longueuil, in Greater Montréal. At the 2021 Census of Canada it had a population of 4,162 living in private households. 46.8% of residents identified as members of a racialized (visible minority) group, against 27.2% across Greater Montréal as a whole; the largest single group was Black at 25.4%. 52.4% were Caucasian (not a visible minority, excluding Indigenous identity), and 1.0% reported Indigenous identity. Immigrants made up 31.5% of the population, compared with 24.3% citywide. Median household income before tax was $60,000 in 2020, compared with $76,000 for Greater Montréal. 77.7% of households rented rather than owned. The neighbourhood covers 0.72 km², giving a population density of 5,760 people per square kilometre (Greater Montréal averages about 908).
