Lachenaie (east 2) is a neighbourhood of Terrebonne, in Greater Montréal. At the 2021 Census of Canada it had a population of 1,895 living in private households. 22.4% of residents identified as members of a racialized (visible minority) group, against 27.2% across Greater Montréal as a whole; the largest single group was Black at 11.3%. 77.1% were Caucasian (not a visible minority, excluding Indigenous identity), and 0.8% reported Indigenous identity. Immigrants made up 16.3% of the population, compared with 24.3% citywide.
