Plateaux (north-northeast) is a neighbourhood of Terrebonne, in Greater Montréal. At the 2021 Census of Canada it had a population of 7,000 living in private households. 18.1% of residents identified as members of a racialized (visible minority) group, against 27.2% across Greater Montréal as a whole; the largest single group was Black at 8.8%. 80.9% were Caucasian (not a visible minority, excluding Indigenous identity), and 1.0% reported Indigenous identity. Immigrants made up 12.4% of the population, compared with 24.3% citywide. Median household income before tax was $109,000 in 2020, compared with $76,000 for Greater Montréal. 20.3% of households rented rather than owned.
