L'Acadie (west-southwest) is a neighbourhood of Saint-Jean-Sur-Richelieu, in Greater Montréal. At the 2021 Census of Canada it had a population of 1,041 living in private households. 2.4% of residents identified as members of a racialized (visible minority) group, against 27.2% across Greater Montréal as a whole; the largest single group was Black at 1.0%. 95.7% were Caucasian (not a visible minority, excluding Indigenous identity), and 1.9% reported Indigenous identity. Immigrants made up 2.9% of the population, compared with 24.3% citywide. Median household income before tax was $104,000 in 2020, compared with $76,000 for Greater Montréal. 7.6% of households rented rather than owned.
