L'Acadie (south-southwest) is a neighbourhood of Saint-Jean-Sur-Richelieu, in Greater Montréal. At the 2021 Census of Canada it had a population of 1,021 living in private households. 2.7% of residents identified as members of a racialized (visible minority) group, against 27.2% across Greater Montréal as a whole. 93.5% were Caucasian (not a visible minority, excluding Indigenous identity), and 3.8% reported Indigenous identity. Immigrants made up 2.7% of the population, compared with 24.3% citywide. Median household income before tax was $94,000 in 2020, compared with $76,000 for Greater Montréal. 11.7% of households rented rather than owned. The neighbourhood covers 7.84 km², giving a population density of 130 people per square kilometre (Greater Montréal averages about 908).
