Carignan (southeast) is a neighbourhood of Carignan, in Greater Montréal. At the 2021 Census of Canada it had a population of 932 living in private households. 6.4% of residents identified as members of a racialized (visible minority) group, against 27.2% across Greater Montréal as a whole; the largest single group was Black at 2.7%. 92.5% were Caucasian (not a visible minority, excluding Indigenous identity), and 1.1% reported Indigenous identity. Immigrants made up 8.6% of the population, compared with 24.3% citywide. Median household income before tax was $100,000 in 2020, compared with $76,000 for Greater Montréal. 16.9% of households rented rather than owned.
