Chambly (north-northeast) is a neighbourhood of Chambly, in Greater Montréal. At the 2021 Census of Canada it had a population of 5,973 living in private households. 7.5% of residents identified as members of a racialized (visible minority) group, against 27.2% across Greater Montréal as a whole; the largest single group was Black at 2.8%. 91.5% were Caucasian (not a visible minority, excluding Indigenous identity), and 1.0% reported Indigenous identity. Immigrants made up 10.6% of the population, compared with 24.3% citywide. Median household income before tax was $74,500 in 2020, compared with $76,000 for Greater Montréal. 43.2% of households rented rather than owned. The neighbourhood covers 5.71 km², giving a population density of 1,046 people per square kilometre (Greater Montréal averages about 908).
