Ville-Marie (southeast) is a neighbourhood of Montréal, in Greater Montréal. At the 2021 Census of Canada it had a population of 4,563 living in private households. 50.5% of residents identified as members of a racialized (visible minority) group, against 27.2% across Greater Montréal as a whole; the largest single group was Chinese at 13.5%. 49.1% were Caucasian (not a visible minority, excluding Indigenous identity), and 0.4% reported Indigenous identity. Immigrants made up 40.0% of the population, compared with 24.3% citywide. Median household income before tax was $77,000 in 2020, compared with $76,000 for Greater Montréal. 52.9% of households rented rather than owned.
