Vieux-Longueuil (west-northwest) is a neighbourhood of Longueuil, in Greater Montréal. At the 2021 Census of Canada it had a population of 3,593 living in private households. 53.5% of residents identified as members of a racialized (visible minority) group, against 27.2% across Greater Montréal as a whole; the largest single group was Black at 12.7%. 45.7% were Caucasian (not a visible minority, excluding Indigenous identity), and 0.6% reported Indigenous identity. Immigrants made up 38.2% of the population, compared with 24.3% citywide. Median household income before tax was $62,400 in 2020, compared with $76,000 for Greater Montréal. 79.3% of households rented rather than owned. The neighbourhood covers 0.73 km², giving a population density of 4,955 people per square kilometre (Greater Montréal averages about 908).
