Vieux-Longueuil (south-southwest) is a neighbourhood of Longueuil, in Greater Montréal. At the 2021 Census of Canada it had a population of 2,870 living in private households. 29.3% of residents identified as members of a racialized (visible minority) group, against 27.2% across Greater Montréal as a whole; the largest single group was Black at 8.6%. 69.5% were Caucasian (not a visible minority, excluding Indigenous identity), and 1.2% reported Indigenous identity. Immigrants made up 23.3% of the population, compared with 24.3% citywide. Median household income before tax was $56,800 in 2020, compared with $76,000 for Greater Montréal. 62.8% of households rented rather than owned. The neighbourhood covers 0.70 km², giving a population density of 4,113 people per square kilometre (Greater Montréal averages about 908).
