Sainte-Thérèse (south-southeast 2) is a neighbourhood of Sainte-Thérèse, in Greater Montréal. At the 2021 Census of Canada it had a population of 5,530 living in private households. 6.5% of residents identified as members of a racialized (visible minority) group, against 27.2% across Greater Montréal as a whole; the largest single group was Black at 3.4%. 92.6% were Caucasian (not a visible minority, excluding Indigenous identity), and 0.9% reported Indigenous identity. Immigrants made up 7.1% of the population, compared with 24.3% citywide. Median household income before tax was $53,200 in 2020, compared with $76,000 for Greater Montréal. 68.9% of households rented rather than owned. The neighbourhood covers 1.86 km², giving a population density of 2,973 people per square kilometre (Greater Montréal averages about 908).
