Saint-Amable (west-northwest) is a neighbourhood of Saint-Amable, in Greater Montréal. At the 2021 Census of Canada it had a population of 6,826 living in private households. 7.0% of residents identified as members of a racialized (visible minority) group, against 27.2% across Greater Montréal as a whole; the largest single group was Black at 2.9%. 91.4% were Caucasian (not a visible minority, excluding Indigenous identity), and 1.7% reported Indigenous identity. Immigrants made up 6.6% of the population, compared with 24.3% citywide. Median household income before tax was $95,000 in 2020, compared with $76,000 for Greater Montréal. 21.2% of households rented rather than owned. The neighbourhood covers 22.97 km², giving a population density of 297 people per square kilometre (Greater Montréal averages about 908).
