Petite-Patrie (south-southwest) is a neighbourhood of Montréal, in Greater Montréal. At the 2021 Census of Canada it had a population of 3,010 living in private households. 19.0% of residents identified as members of a racialized (visible minority) group, against 27.2% across Greater Montréal as a whole; the largest single group was Black at 4.8%. 80.1% were Caucasian (not a visible minority, excluding Indigenous identity), and 0.7% reported Indigenous identity. Immigrants made up 23.0% of the population, compared with 24.3% citywide. Median household income before tax was $62,400 in 2020, compared with $76,000 for Greater Montréal. 67.1% of households rented rather than owned. The neighbourhood covers 0.24 km², giving a population density of 12,695 people per square kilometre (Greater Montréal averages about 908).
