Petite-Patrie (north-northwest) is a neighbourhood of Montréal, in Greater Montréal. At the 2021 Census of Canada it had a population of 2,249 living in private households. 12.8% of residents identified as members of a racialized (visible minority) group, against 27.2% across Greater Montréal as a whole; the largest single group was Black at 3.4%. 86.7% were Caucasian (not a visible minority, excluding Indigenous identity), and 0.4% reported Indigenous identity. Immigrants made up 18.6% of the population, compared with 24.3% citywide. Median household income before tax was $60,800 in 2020, compared with $76,000 for Greater Montréal. 76.8% of households rented rather than owned. The neighbourhood covers 0.18 km², giving a population density of 12,742 people per square kilometre (Greater Montréal averages about 908).
