Montréal-Ouest is a neighbourhood of Montréal-Ouest, in Greater Montréal. At the 2021 Census of Canada it had a population of 5,115 living in private households. 18.2% of residents identified as members of a racialized (visible minority) group, against 27.2% across Greater Montréal as a whole; the largest single group was Black at 4.3%. 81.2% were Caucasian (not a visible minority, excluding Indigenous identity), and 0.5% reported Indigenous identity. Immigrants made up 25.1% of the population, compared with 24.3% citywide. Median household income before tax was $127,000 in 2020, compared with $76,000 for Greater Montréal. 26.5% of households rented rather than owned. The neighbourhood covers 1.37 km², giving a population density of 3,739 people per square kilometre (Greater Montréal averages about 908).
