Maisonneuve (east-northeast) is a neighbourhood of Montréal, in Greater Montréal. At the 2021 Census of Canada it had a population of 2,470 living in private households. 17.5% of residents identified as members of a racialized (visible minority) group, against 27.2% across Greater Montréal as a whole; the largest single group was Black at 9.2%. 81.3% were Caucasian (not a visible minority, excluding Indigenous identity), and 1.3% reported Indigenous identity. Immigrants made up 17.0% of the population, compared with 24.3% citywide. Median household income before tax was $59,200 in 2020, compared with $76,000 for Greater Montréal. 72.4% of households rented rather than owned. The neighbourhood covers 0.51 km², giving a population density of 4,817 people per square kilometre (Greater Montréal averages about 908).
