Le Gardeur (west-southwest 2) is a neighbourhood of Repentigny, in Greater Montréal. At the 2021 Census of Canada it had a population of 3,353 living in private households. 14.6% of residents identified as members of a racialized (visible minority) group, against 27.2% across Greater Montréal as a whole; the largest single group was Black at 8.3%. 84.2% were Caucasian (not a visible minority, excluding Indigenous identity), and 1.0% reported Indigenous identity. Immigrants made up 10.4% of the population, compared with 24.3% citywide. Median household income before tax was $87,000 in 2020, compared with $76,000 for Greater Montréal. 25.6% of households rented rather than owned. The neighbourhood covers 1.16 km², giving a population density of 2,895 people per square kilometre (Greater Montréal averages about 908).
