Le Gardeur (west-northwest) is a neighbourhood of Repentigny, in Greater Montréal. At the 2021 Census of Canada it had a population of 2,888 living in private households. 11.4% of residents identified as members of a racialized (visible minority) group, against 27.2% across Greater Montréal as a whole; the largest single group was Black at 6.3%. 87.0% were Caucasian (not a visible minority, excluding Indigenous identity), and 1.8% reported Indigenous identity. Immigrants made up 8.4% of the population, compared with 24.3% citywide. Median household income before tax was $91,000 in 2020, compared with $76,000 for Greater Montréal. 15.3% of households rented rather than owned. The neighbourhood covers 0.77 km², giving a population density of 3,749 people per square kilometre (Greater Montréal averages about 908).
