La Visitation (west-northwest) is a neighbourhood of Montréal, in Greater Montréal. At the 2021 Census of Canada it had a population of 5,123 living in private households. 35.2% of residents identified as members of a racialized (visible minority) group, against 27.2% across Greater Montréal as a whole; the largest single group was Black at 19.2%. 64.2% were Caucasian (not a visible minority, excluding Indigenous identity), and 0.7% reported Indigenous identity. Immigrants made up 29.6% of the population, compared with 24.3% citywide. Median household income before tax was $58,800 in 2020, compared with $76,000 for Greater Montréal. 68.7% of households rented rather than owned.
