Faubourg Saint-Laurent (southwest) is a neighbourhood of Montréal, in Greater Montréal. At the 2021 Census of Canada it had a population of 1,325 living in private households. 37.7% of residents identified as members of a racialized (visible minority) group, against 27.2% across Greater Montréal as a whole; the largest single group was Chinese at 10.0%. 61.5% were Caucasian (not a visible minority, excluding Indigenous identity), and 0.9% reported Indigenous identity. Immigrants made up 35.2% of the population, compared with 24.3% citywide. Median household income before tax was $66,000 in 2020, compared with $76,000 for Greater Montréal. 61.0% of households rented rather than owned. The neighbourhood covers 0.22 km², giving a population density of 6,109 people per square kilometre (Greater Montréal averages about 908).
