Dorval (east-southeast) is a neighbourhood of Dorval, in Greater Montréal. At the 2021 Census of Canada it had a population of 7,238 living in private households. 29.2% of residents identified as members of a racialized (visible minority) group, against 27.2% across Greater Montréal as a whole; the largest single group was Black at 6.1%. 69.7% were Caucasian (not a visible minority, excluding Indigenous identity), and 1.1% reported Indigenous identity. Immigrants made up 27.2% of the population, compared with 24.3% citywide. Median household income before tax was $65,500 in 2020, compared with $76,000 for Greater Montréal. 51.4% of households rented rather than owned. The neighbourhood covers 2.00 km², giving a population density of 3,626 people per square kilometre (Greater Montréal averages about 908).
