Dorion (south-southeast) is a neighbourhood of Vaudreuil-Dorion, in Greater Montréal. At the 2021 Census of Canada it had a population of 9,131 living in private households. 19.8% of residents identified as members of a racialized (visible minority) group, against 27.2% across Greater Montréal as a whole; the largest single group was Black at 5.4%. 78.8% were Caucasian (not a visible minority, excluding Indigenous identity), and 1.4% reported Indigenous identity. Immigrants made up 17.1% of the population, compared with 24.3% citywide. Median household income before tax was $81,000 in 2020, compared with $76,000 for Greater Montréal. 31.7% of households rented rather than owned. The neighbourhood covers 21.48 km², giving a population density of 425 people per square kilometre (Greater Montréal averages about 908).
