Côte-des-Neiges (north-northeast) is a neighbourhood of Montréal, in Greater Montréal. At the 2021 Census of Canada it had a population of 6,480 living in private households. 62.7% of residents identified as members of a racialized (visible minority) group, against 27.2% across Greater Montréal as a whole; the largest single group was Arab at 18.1%. 36.8% were Caucasian (not a visible minority, excluding Indigenous identity), and 0.5% reported Indigenous identity. Immigrants made up 45.0% of the population, compared with 24.3% citywide. Median household income before tax was $46,800 in 2020, compared with $76,000 for Greater Montréal. 91.9% of households rented rather than owned. The neighbourhood covers 0.41 km², giving a population density of 15,789 people per square kilometre (Greater Montréal averages about 908).
