Anjou (southwest) is a neighbourhood of Montréal, in Greater Montréal. At the 2021 Census of Canada it had a population of 4,862 living in private households. 17.6% of residents identified as members of a racialized (visible minority) group, against 27.2% across Greater Montréal as a whole; the largest single group was Arab at 7.2%. 81.2% were Caucasian (not a visible minority, excluding Indigenous identity), and 1.1% reported Indigenous identity. Immigrants made up 31.5% of the population, compared with 24.3% citywide. Median household income before tax was $56,800 in 2020, compared with $76,000 for Greater Montréal. 36.6% of households rented rather than owned. The neighbourhood covers 1.04 km², giving a population density of 4,666 people per square kilometre (Greater Montréal averages about 908).
