Anjou (south-southeast) is a neighbourhood of Montréal, in Greater Montréal. At the 2021 Census of Canada it had a population of 4,117 living in private households. 35.8% of residents identified as members of a racialized (visible minority) group, against 27.2% across Greater Montréal as a whole; the largest single group was Black at 16.0%. 63.6% were Caucasian (not a visible minority, excluding Indigenous identity), and 0.5% reported Indigenous identity. Immigrants made up 33.6% of the population, compared with 24.3% citywide. Median household income before tax was $79,000 in 2020, compared with $76,000 for Greater Montréal. 54.5% of households rented rather than owned. The neighbourhood covers 0.69 km², giving a population density of 6,010 people per square kilometre (Greater Montréal averages about 908).
