Ahuntsic (northwest) is a neighbourhood of Montréal, in Greater Montréal. At the 2021 Census of Canada it had a population of 4,229 living in private households. 26.5% of residents identified as members of a racialized (visible minority) group, against 27.2% across Greater Montréal as a whole; the largest single group was Arab at 9.3%. 73.1% were Caucasian (not a visible minority, excluding Indigenous identity), and 0.5% reported Indigenous identity. Immigrants made up 21.4% of the population, compared with 24.3% citywide. Median household income before tax was $66,000 in 2020, compared with $76,000 for Greater Montréal. 64.4% of households rented rather than owned. The neighbourhood covers 0.59 km², giving a population density of 7,179 people per square kilometre (Greater Montréal averages about 908).
