Saint-Basile-le-Grand (northeast) is a neighbourhood of Saint-Basile-Le-Grand, in Greater Montréal. At the 2021 Census of Canada it had a population of 5,631 living in private households. 6.5% of residents identified as members of a racialized (visible minority) group, against 27.2% across Greater Montréal as a whole; the largest single group was Arab at 2.0%. 92.3% were Caucasian (not a visible minority, excluding Indigenous identity), and 1.2% reported Indigenous identity. Immigrants made up 7.4% of the population, compared with 24.3% citywide. Median household income before tax was $103,000 in 2020, compared with $76,000 for Greater Montréal. 12.2% of households rented rather than owned.
