L'Arrondissement (southeast) is a neighbourhood of La Prairie, in Greater Montréal. At the 2021 Census of Canada it had a population of 11,724 living in private households. 19.4% of residents identified as members of a racialized (visible minority) group, against 27.2% across Greater Montréal as a whole; the largest single group was Chinese at 7.2%. 80.0% were Caucasian (not a visible minority, excluding Indigenous identity), and 0.6% reported Indigenous identity. Immigrants made up 19.1% of the population, compared with 24.3% citywide. Median household income before tax was $115,000 in 2020, compared with $76,000 for Greater Montréal. 19.6% of households rented rather than owned.
