Cecil-P.-Newman (east) is a neighbourhood of Montréal, in Greater Montréal. At the 2021 Census of Canada it had a population of 9,824 living in private households. 56.6% of residents identified as members of a racialized (visible minority) group, against 27.2% across Greater Montréal as a whole; the largest single group was Chinese at 29.8%. 42.3% were Caucasian (not a visible minority, excluding Indigenous identity), and 0.9% reported Indigenous identity.
