Bois-Franc (west-southwest) is a neighbourhood of Montréal, in Greater Montréal. At the 2021 Census of Canada it had a population of 3,329 living in private households. 58.3% of residents identified as members of a racialized (visible minority) group, against 27.2% across Greater Montréal as a whole; the largest single group was Arab at 26.9%. 41.7% were Caucasian (not a visible minority, excluding Indigenous identity), and 0.0% reported Indigenous identity. Immigrants made up 47.8% of the population, compared with 24.3% citywide. Median household income before tax was $78,500 in 2020, compared with $76,000 for Greater Montréal. 57.9% of households rented rather than owned. The neighbourhood covers 1.04 km², giving a population density of 3,205 people per square kilometre (Greater Montréal averages about 908).
